Troy has already represented the USofA in the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics. In some circles, that might make him the old man of diving. Instead of retiring, he's going to go for the gold again. Troy is an all around jock who enjoys playing football, hockey, tennis, basketball and baseball. He says that in his spare time, he enjoys cars, movies, working out and hanging out with friends.

Jamey says he wants to race, and beat, Michael Phelps. Go for it! Here's what Jamey has to say about the contest: "The ultimate race for me would be if Phelps led off the relay for America and I could lead off for Australia. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. I want the chance to race him at the Olympics. I would revel in that chance. He's someone I have looked up to, but when I get on the blocks, there is no love lost for anyone that I race against."

Russo, an Italian heavy weight, is headed to London where he'll put on the gloves to honor his flag and country. He's 29-years-old and Italian. Look out for his left hook. He can take of someone's jaw.

Richy got into fencing when he was 10-years-old when his mother encouraged him. They visited the local club in Finchley, where he fell in love with the sport. The British champion won silver at the European Championships in 2006 and his eighth place finish at the 2004 Athens Olympics was the best by any British fencer since the 1964 Games.

Federer feels he has to add Olympic gold to his 16 Grand Slam singles titles. It will fill the one hole in his career achievements. Federer won a gold in doubles in Beijing in 2008 but has never won a gold in singles. That's okay, Roger, you've already won the gold in our heart.

Mikey doesn't have anything to prove after bringing home the gold in the last Olympics. For more than a decade, Mikey has been relentless. He trains every day and the world’s best swimmer has won just about every meaningful event he has entered. He owns 16 Olympic medals and 14 of those are gold.

Girls, what who this list be without including the great David Beckham? Beckham says he wants to compete at the Olympics on merit and nothing else and that suggestions he would get a place in the English soccer team due to his good looks or buzz factor is “a bit disrespectful. Any time I have been asked about shirt sales and filling stadiums, it hurts my feelings."

If Jack Green is hitting his stride, then British fans can celebrate a medal at the London Olympics. Green is 20 and largely unknown in sporting circles. But Green has been great in the 400 meters hurdles, might be the most difficult event in track and field.
